SIAL Specialty Retailers, Inc., a joint venture between the SSI Group and Ayala Land, Inc., has opened its second Wellworth Department Store at the newest lifestyle hub located along Katipunan Avenue, the U.P. Town Center. This exciting retail destination that aims to provide real value for everyday lifestyles celebrated its grand launch last May 29.
The mid-market department store, whose first branch debuted at Fairview Terraces Mall in Quezon City, is distinguished for its modern yet warm store aesthetic conducive to family shopping. Various choices of make-up and cosmetics, children’s clothes and toys, ladies’, men’s, and teens’ fashion and a whole lot more are in store for every member of the family. The store is also noted for its customer service that is sincere, cheerful, and helpful.
In terms of merchandise selection, Wellworth offers a wide array of affordable international and local brands, such as F&F, Forme, Le Tigre, Saville Row, among others. Private brands, exclusive to Wellworth, include Erin, Comfort for Him, WAY (We Are Young), Hugs and Kisses, Princess for children, and the much touted accessories line, Accents, which features global styles and quality at affordable prices.
The grand opening kicked off with a string of celebrations to launch the new branch. There were games like tongue twister and Wear it Well (Worth), a fun fashion activity wherein participants wore as much clothes as they could in three minutes and brought home all the items they were able to wear.
Wellworth also held an exciting dance-off between the schools nearby like U.P. Diliman and Ateneo de Manila University, and set up booths of various brands to provide families and friends a retail experience worth their time. A photo wall with a trampoline to bounce on was also part of Wellworth’s fun gimmicks.
To culminate the festivities, Filipino bands Sponge Cola, Join the Club, Lunar Lights, and Ebe Dancel rocked the stage during the much anticipated grand launch.
