If I turn into another, dig me up from under what is covering the better part of me. Sing this song. Remind me that we’ll always have each other when everything else is gone.

I haven’t tried lomography and probably won’t any time soon. This photo was not taken with a lomo camera. I took it using my D40. This was an uninteresting photo straight out of the camera. I was playing with the effects in iPhoto when I notice it looked a lot like the lomo photos I saw in flickr and zooomr.

Somebody asked me if I am a photographer. I am not. Just somebody with a camera and actually use and having fun with it. I don’t care how the photos will turn out. I capture what fancies me.

The gang went to Singapore Henderson Waves to take night shots of the bridge. Problem with the place is that it’s always full of people you can’t shoot without having another photographer in your frame. With my frustration of getting a decent wide shot, I went closer instead. The bridge’s support frame made a good abstract subject.

The view of the faces artwork from the inside of Singapore Esplanade. I was taking a rest inside the Esplanade from the searing Singapore heat during the National Day Parade 2008 celebration. I like this better than the one I took outside.

Where are the signs to help me get out of this place. If I should stumble on my moment in time, how will I know? If the story’s written on my face, does it show?
In this war, the tears in my eyes says it all. Put all of my faith in you now. When all of the world says we wont make it through, we’ll battle the world.

It was a rainy sunday afternoon when Willie, Madz and me went to the Singapore Flyer. Willie had 4 tickets. Madz and I got one each. Jay could have gotten the last one if he was not in the Philippines attending to his newborn baby.
The Singapore Flyer is one big ferris wheel that moves very slow. A turn took us roughly 40 minutes. The view from the top of flyer could have been better if not for the sights below being littered with ongoing constructions.
All in all the sights at the top are nice but nothing short of breathtaking. We wish we went there at night. The city lights below could have given us a fantastic view. And oh, did I say it was raining? Willie, we need tickets for a night ride.

For somebody who’s on Mac OS X, hasn’t gotten used to Textmate and uses Vim for development, I love the IR Black terminal theme together with IR Black vim color scheme.
Fool enough to almost be it. And cool enough to not quite see it. And old enough to always feel this. Always old, Ill always feel this.

Artworks painted on glass walls of Esplanade from various Singapore artists during the National Day Parade 2008 celebration. It depicted faces of world leaders as well as influential and popular people.

Ain’t got no quarrels with God. Ain’t got no time to get old. Lord knows I’m weak. Won’t somebody get me off of this reef.

I guess I’m taking better view of my surroundings on my way home. This photo was taken on the train going home at Sentosa Ave. It was taken in a hurry and against the glass while the train is moving. What I like about this photo is that unlike the Merlion or the Esplanade, I don’t see much of this in flickr.

Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life?

I’m always fascinated by restaurants displaying their menu on a chalkboard. To me, they suggest cozy atmosphere inside. I took these on my way home from Sentosa.

Come as you are. As you were. As I want you to be. As a friend. As a friend. As a known memory.
