MakatiMed gains two new SHAP partners

Makati Medical Center’s Strategic Hospital Alliance Program continues to expand with the addition of its first diagnostic laboratory partner, and a new partner in the Southern Tagalog region.

LCM Diagnostics (Laboratory of Computer Medicine Philippines, Inc.) in Makati signed the SHAP partnership on August 19, becoming MakatiMed’s first diagnostic laboratory partner. MakatiMed held the orientation last September 8, attended by their General Manager, Leslie W. Espino, and the laboratory staff.

The Diagnostic Laboratory was established in 1983 and it is one of the country’s oldest private medical laboratories. LCM Diagnostics has provided a range of medical laboratory services to thousands of satisfied customers. LCM Diagnostics pioneered and continues to provide home service for the comfort and convenience of patients requiring his special service. In addition, LCM Diagnositcs has a Strategic Business Alliance with the Lifeline Rescue, the first and only dedicated “Emergency Quick Response” (EQR) service in the Philippines.

Another new SHAP partner is the Laguna Holy Family Hospital, a secondary hospital with a 54-bed capacity located in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. lt started its operation in November 1970 and was considered the first private hospital established in the 4th district of the province.

The partnership began on August 22, 2014 and MakatiMed conducted the orientation on September 11. SHAP to date is composed of 75 partner hospitals, clinics and diagnostic laboratory, four company referrers, and six physician referrers.
