Fashion takes center stage once again as Ayala Malls, the country’s leading lifestyle and shopping destination, presents Style Origin, a series of activities that celebrates fashion innovations and inspired designs.

Since it was launched, Style Origin has trained the spotlight on select heritage fashion brands, global icons as well as emerging names in the industry, highlighting their craftsmanship and passion for design that has delighted fashion mavens and loyal shopping patrons year after year.

Style Origin —with the support of its partners The Philippine STAR; TIGER 22 media corporation and its exclusive radio station partners, Magic 89.9, Wave 89.1, Jam 88.3, 99.5 Play FM and 103.5 K-Lite; and Starworld —will bring to the forefront exciting fashion forecasts and retail lifestyle must-haves through grand exhibitions, runway shows, and stunning in-store displays, all aimed to invigorate your fashion senses as well as inspire your growing seasonal wardrobe.

Last May 8, the grand gala launch at Greenbelt kicked off the Style Origin tour into high gear, starting with the Community Lifestyle Showcase at 4pm, Mensweek at 6 pm, and the Brand Showcase, featuring local emerging brands and renowned Filipino designers, at 8pm.

At the Community Lifestyle showcase, revel in this year’s newest high street styles as imagined by trendsetting brands: Replay, Zara, Calvin Klein Jeans, Swatch, XOXO, BCBG Maxazria, Mango, Topman, Warehouse, Miss Selfridge, Penguin, Cotton On and Cotton On Kids, Factorie, Marks & Spencer, Asics, Onisuka, 7 For All Mankind, Gingersnaps, and Osh Kosh.

To delight the luxurious tastes of the shopping elite, premier brands Tod’s, Bally, AC+32, Myth, Barba, Charina Sarte, L Manila, Charriol, Azucar and Firma will also share their well-crafted collections that reflect their on-trend aesthetics as well as timeless appeal.

The men will find themselves also welcomed into the fashion circle with runway showcases called Mensweek, which offers collections specifically created for the male style savant’s unique tastes and needs.

Incorporating a sophisticated, masculine touch to the celebration of fashion and beauty are designers’ Joey Samson, Gian Romano, Rhett Eala, Sassa Jimenez, Bang Pineda, Yvonne Quisimbing, Philip Rodriguez, and Edwin Ao. The students of Slims and College of Saint Benilde will also be presenting their own original showcases.

New Park Triangle breaks ground

New Park Triangle project officially breaks ground, expanding the BGC community’s access to retail and lifestyle choices.

All roads led to Bonifacio Global City last February 26 as the retail and mixed-use segment of Ayala Land’s latest development, Park Triangle, broke ground in Taguig.

The triangular lot, aptly called Park Triangle, is intended to seamlessly bring the cluster of developments in the vicinity together to reflect the kind of place BGC has set itself out to do. On one side will be the first and only Kidzania in the country, scheduled to open this summer, where children can recreate and experience jobs firsthand. On top will be a multi-purpose event venue to cater to the BGC community’s growing needs.
