Asus Zenfone Zoom Unboxing Video

After launching in Cebu during the Sinulog Festival, the Asus Zenfone Zoom is now available in stores for a suggested retail price of Php26,995. It’s a monster smartphone with an over-sized camera from Panasonic and Hoya.

Asus Zenfone Zoom to be priced at Php26,995

Asus Philippines is set to launch the Zenfone Zoom in the country next week but there’s one very critical information that’s still missing — the retail price. So we asked around the some retail store point to a possible suggested retail price of Php26,995 for the 128GB model.

The Zenfone Zoom will also be powered by a slightly newer and faster Intel Atom Z3590 quad-core chip with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz per core.

The Php26,995 is actually the same price that Asus CEO Jerry Shen told us (we quoted his stating a Php27k SRP) last year during our interview (see here).

Asus announces ZenFone Zoom cameraphone

Aside from the Zenfone 2, Asus has also announced their very own cameraphone called the Zenfone Zoom.

The Zenfone Zoom is basically almost the same the Zenfone 2 but with much better camera features.

The ZenFone Zoom features a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus, 3x optical zoom, OIS, HDR, macro-mode with manual-mode.
