ASUS is taking their Transformer lineup to a whole new level with the announcement of the ASUS Transformer AiO, the world’s first all-in-one desktop PC that is capable of running Windows 8 or Android 4.1 in desktop or tablet mode.

Simply put, the ASUS Transformer AiO is an attempted marriage of an AiO desktop and an Android tablet. When used as a desktop, the Transformer AiO becomes a Windows 8 machine via PC Station which sports a 3rd generation Intel Core processor, 8GB of RAM, 1TB of SATA hard drive, and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M GPU. Now for the fun part, pull out the 18.4-inch LED-backlit Full-HD IPS display from the PC Station and you now have a full blown Android Jellybean tablet with a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
