Google releases Android 4.4.4 KitKat to Nexus devices

Google has released factory images of Android 4.4.4 KitKat for the Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10 to fix security flaws.

The Android 4.4.4 KitKat (KTU84P) is a minor update which aims to fix the CVE-2014-0224 vulnerability or the bug relating to OpenSSL to the mentioned Nexus devices.

Information is scarce as of the moment but according to Android Engineering Program Manager Sascha PrĂ¼ter, the update also addresses “some other (not quite as severe) security issues,” and that Google should provide more details in the next 48 hours.
