Winner: A for Huawei P9

Overall Winner: Google Nexus 6P

The votes suggest that many prefer how the Nexus 6P shoots than the P9. Although both are carrying the same Huawei brand, the company implemented different cameras for each hence the difference in results.

Nexus 6P is not immune to ‘bendgate’ issue

The newest and greatest of the Nexus lineup by Google this year, Nexus 6P, has been receiving praises in the international community for its build quality on hand. YouTuber JerryRigEverything tries to test if the smartphone built by Huawei actually holds up in strenuous situations. The result does not look good.

As shown in the video, the Nexus 6P look likes it accepts scratches easily and the front glass is more fragile than it should be. The bend test with bare hands at the end is something to be concerned about.

Then again, this a torture test for the device. Everyday usage may vary, but a few drops on the floor may break your device, and putting it in your pocket with keys and coins might leave some unsightly marks. A good smartphone case will be able to protect the Nexus 6P, so be sure to grab one if you’re planning on buying the new Nexus.

Amazing 240 fps slow-mo sample from the Nexus 6P

Nexus cameras weren’t always the best in their category, but the new Nexus smartphones have been receiving praises since their were announced.

Among their nifty feature is slow motion video capture of 240 fps @ 720p. Check out this sample of Google Nexus 6P from Dave Burke, head of Android engineering, and see how it stacks up.

Given ideal lighting, the video came out nice and pretty solid. The camera was able to capture the fast wings of the hummingbird that has a rapid wing-flapping rates of 50 times per second.

We hope to have a hand-on with the new Nexus devices when they reach our shores. The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are Google’s latest smartphones that run Android Marshmallow. You may check out the evolution of the Nexus line here.

Huawei Nexus ‘6P’ to be the first Nexus with 128GB storage?

There’s been countless rumors for the two upcoming handsets from Google. With the smaller version reported to be called Nexus 5X, the bigger Nexus 6P will allegedly sport a 128GB of internal storage.

According to multiple sources of Android Police, the Nexus phone that will be manufactured by Huawei will have a 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB of available storage iterations — discontinuing the 16GB variant. Having a larger storage option is always a good thing rather than settling for an easy-to-exhaust space.

If this pushes through, it will be the first Nexus device to sport such internal storage. This move might also mean that the new Huawei Nexus device might no longer have a microSD slot for expansion. Google has recently sent out an event invite on the 29th so it could be soon that we will be seeing these two Nexus devices. Stay tuned.
