But more than just a slide, it is a complete festival that celebrates the love for good clean fun – with music, food, drinks, water balloons and water guns!
Those who choose to go on two wheels for their version of thrills can sign up for the 5th Shimano Dirt and Play XC Fun Race happening on May 24 inside the trails of Filinvest City. Avid bikers are welcome to join the Community Ride, together with cyclists that have the same interest in bikes – whether they be folding or fat bikes, fixie, road, or urban riders. There are also Dirt Categories for the more competitive mountain bikers who want to push themselves to the limit. Kids categories, as well as inflatable play areas, are also available so that this adventure can be shared with the whole family!
After attracting thousands of participants to its run events in the first quarter of the year, Filinvest City is gearing up for more races this summer. While there will certainly be a lot of healthy competition, these runs are more about fun and the enjoyment of the outdoors.
The Nike Women’s 10K Run on May 9 is a buddy run where the ladies get to share the experience with a mom, a sister or a best friend! There is also the Just For Run, Join the Fun event happening on June 7 that aims to promote a healthier lifestyle and raise funds for the benefit of the Pedro E. Diaz High School and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa.
And just to show that the sun need not be up to enjoy this summer, there is a night run happening on the streets of Filinvest City. The Color Manila Nite Run – Black Light Edition on May 16 will offer interesting twists and challenges to give you that extra burst of energy to complete the race.
