Samsung announces NX300 mirrorless camera

Samsung has just announced its latest mirrorless interchangeable lens camera and the successor to last year’s NX210 – the Samsung NX300.

For starters, the NX300 has 20.3 megapixel APS-C sensor, an ISO range of 100 to 25,600, and a shutter speed of up to 1/6000th of a second. In burst mode it can make 8.6 shots per second and can record videos of up to 1080p at 60 fps. Other features include a 3.3-inch AMOLED tiltable touchscreen display, dual-band WiFi connectivity, and the ability to receive commands from smartphones or tablets through the Samsung SMART CAMERA app on iOS and Android. But what makes the NX300 so special is its ability to shoot 3D photos and videos through Samsung’s 45mm F1.8 2D/3D lens.

The Samsung NX300 ships in March with a 20-50mm kit lens and costs $750. But if you want the 45mm 2D/3D lens system that would cost you another $600.
