Lozada’s testimony in the Senate

Rodolfo Lozada Jr., the key witness in the Senate inquiry into the national broadband network controversy, has linked First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo and former Commissions on Election chairman Benjamin Abalos to the national broadband network controversy. In his testimony Friday before the Senate, Lozada said former socioeconomic planning secretary Romulo Neri had instructed him not to involve the First Gentleman in the issue.

Fed up of using Mass Edit mode when reviewing comments I wrote my own antispam plugin for Wordpress. It’s crude but it’s working for me so far. I have zero spam so far since it was installed and those that got through are taken cared of by Akismet. And for those that gets pass the first two lines of defense will have to face my blacklisted words and link count filter.

Itchyworms currently working on next album

Itchyworms are currently working on their album which is hopefully to be released in the middle of 2008 (that should be around June 2008). The first time that I was able to watch them perform live was at 70’s Bistro in Cubao. I was still in college at that time. Itchyworms is composed of Jugs Jugueta (guitars and vocals), Chino Singson (guitars), Kelvin Yu (bass) and Jazz Nicolas (drums). Their latest album, Noontime Show, was released under Universal Records way back in 2005. Indeed, it’s time for them to release a new one. :) Read more to catch their February gig schedule.
